Did not take my own advice.
At least the rejection came before the new year, right?
I think sometimes you just have to leave things be. I wouldn’t say I’m content with this, but I think I’m just gonna leave myself to think ‘what if’. I can’t be bothered to face rejection, too much of that’s gone on in my life. Moving onwards, not necessarily upwards but I’m seeing it as being for the best.

Found out work have given me two weeks off over Xmas and New Year. YES. Hello favourites. :)
There is a light.
Whenever I’m alone at night, I leave the landing light on. I’ve got a small rectangle cut out in the top corner of my room - sort of like an air vent, maybe the size of a letterbox. So I lay in darkness. Somewhat vacant - or trying to be. Nothing but the beam of light from the vent, shining right through my room. Sometimes I find it suffocating. It’s so high up, so small, so out...
It’s my 21st Birthday soon. I kind of want a party. I’m just a tiny bit terrified no-one will turn up. Ideas for themes include The Great Gatsby, GaGa or Being a Dickhead’s Cool.
I’m finding it really difficult to stay optimistic when the world is so criminally unjust. I really hope 2011 brings nicer things.
